One of the reasons that I decided to share our story online was because I had such a difficult time finding other PKD (polycystic kidney disease) stories to relate to. In all my research, I have come across many beautiful people & kind organizations who want nothing else but to bring beauty amidst these ashes, give strength for fear, and help us bereaving parents to have gladness again despite the mourning.

A Facebook support group for parents who have lost their child to polycystic kidney disease. I had such a hard time finding information online, but upon joining this group, I was instantly connected to many other moms (real people) who have walked this difficult road before me. It is comforting to her their stories and know that we are not alone.

A site that offers a keepsake package & a detailed birth plan to help prepare for the hard road ahead and make as many beautiful memories as possible.
Forever Footprints
A website that offers online resources for pregnancy loss. Through its Journey to Remember program, it can also connect you to a local nurse experienced with pregnancy loss.

"A pregnancy loss is still a birthday." This site is dedicated to helping families truly honor the life of their little one. It offers a birth plan and a list of volunteers (doulas, lactation specialists) who will kindly help in this time of need.
